Reinvigorate Analytics Beta Invite

Posted by on Aug 26, 2010 in Cloud Apps (SaaS) | No Comments

Reinvigorate is a website statistics / analytics web application in a new beta testing phase. As of today, they are still selecting and offering spots via email signup on their homepage. I received my invite e-mail about a week after signing up. Today I replaced Google Analytics Tracking on my personal blog to give them an all-or-nothing shot.

From what I’ve read, Reinvigorate has been around since 2002, however in early 2009, MediaTemple presented them with an offer to be part of the (mt) Ventures program. With the backing and additional resources Reinvigorate has reinvented itself (pun intended) with a new Beta program. Reinvigorate is in the same realm as Google Analytics, being a hosted service. Mint, another great website statistics tracker is a self hosted service, meaning you’d have to install and maintain on your webhost.

My website is under WordPress on a MediaTemple hosting package. After creating my Reinvigorate beta account and adding dereksneed.com, I was given the tracking code scripts to place in my header similar to other Analytics apps. I noticed however, that one of the options tabbed out was WordPress.

UPDATE: As I was producing this blog post, I received an e-mail from the Reinvigorate Team, that Monday August 30th, 2010 would finally be the end of Beta Status.****** I will continue my review and thoughts on the new pricing in a week or two. Derek
